The ITCZ will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar.

The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao and Benguet.

Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience the same weather.

A low pressure area has been spotted off Mindanao and outside the Philippine area of responsibility. It has a slim chance of developing into a storm, according to PAGASA.

“As of 3 in the morning ay nasa 365 kilometers ito, southeast of General Santos City. Itong low pressure area ay mababa ang tsansa na maging isang bagyo at posible na rin pong malusaw sa susunod na isa hanggang dalawang araw,” Pagasa weather specialist Benison Estareja said.

The weather agency advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be slight to moderate.
