Mystery Behind Governor’s Forehead Lump Sparks Online Buzz
DANIEL FERNANDO – Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando has finally addressed the rumors that have been making the rounds online.
Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando has addressed the swirling rumors surrounding an alleged confrontation with Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla, following a reported road rage incident on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) involving Vinny Marcos.
In a recent episode of the vlog “Kay Susan Tayo,” veteran broadcaster Susan Enriquez directly asked Fernando about the issue, particularly the noticeable bump on his forehead that had fueled speculation online.

“Ma’am, huwag na nating pag-usapan yun,” Fernando replied with a laugh, clearly avoiding the topic.
Enriquez pressed further, pointing out the visible swelling and referencing circulating claims that it resulted from an alleged physical altercation with Remulla. However, Fernando clarified that the lump had nothing to do with any such incident. According to him, the bump is due to lymphoma, which has been present for quite some time. He also shared that while some had suggested having it surgically removed, his neurologist advised against it, noting that it is not cancerous.
When asked again if the lump was caused by the supposed altercation, Fernando firmly denied it, reiterating that it had long been there. He also assured viewers that his relationship with Remulla remains on good terms.
The controversy traces back to a viral social media post by broadcaster Ramon Tulfo, who alleged that Fernando’s convoy harassed Vinny Marcos on the evening of February 21, 2026, along the NLEX. The claim sparked widespread discussion, with reports suggesting that Fernando was summoned to Camp Crame by Remulla, where an alleged physical confrontation took place.

Remulla, however, publicly denied these claims during a Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum on March 4, 2026. “Fernando already denied it happened and I will concur with him,” he said, backing the governor’s statement. He also dismissed the allegations as unfounded and pointed to Tulfo as the source of the story.
“You have to ask him [Ramon Tulfo]. Siya naman nagsabi noon, hindi ako. But we stand by what Daniel said,” Remulla added.
He further emphasized that the issue has long been resolved. “Wala na ‘yon. I met Ramon maybe twice in my life, okay na ‘yon… si Tulfo. Siya ang nagkakalat, e.”
Despite repeated questions during the vlog, Fernando remained consistent in his stance, choosing not to elaborate further. “Ma’am, huwag na natin pag-usapan,” he said once again with a smile, maintaining his silence on the matter.
