Cesar Montano Sends Message To Bongbong Marcos’ Critics

Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is the son of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. His father ruled the country for 21 years. However, there were alleged widespread corruption and human rights abuses.
BBM is on the cusp of winning the 2022 election by a landslide according to partial results. With more than 95% of the votes counted, Bongbong has about 30 million votes.
Bongbong Marcos ran on a platform of “unity.” He promised lower prices, more jobs, and more investment in infrastructure and agriculture. Analysts say BBM’s rise is the culmination of a decades-long attempt to change the Marcos family’s image. Bongbong thanked his supporters for their belief in him in a speech late on Monday, May 9.
“Even though the counting is not over yet, I cannot wait to thank all of you… to those who helped, to those who joined our fight, to those who sacrificed,” BBM said.

Recently, veteran actor Cesar Montano shared his thoughts on the partial election results showing BBM in the lead. In his IG post, he said Bongbong becoming the next president is the voice of the Filipino people and of God.
The 59-year-old actor urged the critics of Bongbong to respect the majority decision and to support the new president so that he can succeed for the benefit of the entire country. He also expressed his amazement that the politician will be the first president to get the majority vote since his father in 1965 and 1969.
“Presidente na si Ferdinand “Bongbong”Marcos jr… that is the voice of the pipol, the voice of God. Pangulo sya ng lahat ng Pilipino, lahat. Hndi lang ng mga bumoto sa kanya, kundi pati na din dun sa mga ayaw sa kanya.”
“You have to respect the decision of the majority. Dapat sya tulungan at suportahan… kung talagang mahal natin ang bansa natin dapat ganyan ang maging panananaw ng bawat Pilipino.”
