ALEX LACSON’S PLATFORMS – Here are the accomplishments of Alex Lacson and the things he promises to do if he gets elected again as Senator in the May 2022 Elections.
The senatorial candidate from Negros Occidental who is running under Kapatiran Party is an author of best-selling patriotic books such as 12 Things Every Filipino Can Do To Help Our Country. He was nominated by the party to be their vice-presidential candidate but he gave way to Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Alexander Ledesma Lacson was born in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental. He is married to Pia Pena and they are blessed with four children. Lacson took up a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Philippines- Diliman. After that, he took up a Bachelor of Laws at the UP Diliman-College of Law.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Throughout the years, Alex Lacson has served the people through various organizations. Currently, he is a Member of the Philippine Army’s Multisectoral Advisory Board since 2011 and from 2017 until now, he is a Member of the National Defense Multisectoral Advisory Board. He represented the 122 plaintiffs who were poisoned by toxic wastes left by the U.S. at the Clark Air Field and Subic bases after the Mt. Pinatubo eruption.

- Restructure the pandemic task force and ensure pandemic funds are not misused
- Family Health Cards that will provide P100,000 annually for each family
- Establish a two-party system to help prevent party-switching
- Address the political dynasty problem
- Transfer some presidential appointment power to an independent commission that will appoint members of constitutional bodies
- Ensure good governance
- Support the P2 billion fund component for the Sugarcane Industry Development Act
- Strengthen local production of pork and chicken
- Increase rice self-sufficiency
- Revive the Negros Island Region
- Kalinga Kalikasan” initiative which will prompt the private sector will be encouraged to adopt hectares of land for reforestation
