On Monday (April 19, 2022), The Department of Education (DepEd) announced the suspension of classes from May 2 to 13. The class cancellation has been made due to the upcoming May 9 national elections.
The Education Department made the announcement through DepEd Order No. 29, which has been released on August 5, 2021. The class suspension aims to give way to the National Election-related Activities.
