Group of Minors Caught on Camera Robbing Jeep Using Ice Pick
A group of minors has gone viral online after a video showed them robbing passengers inside a public jeepney using an ice pick.
Reports say that around 15 minors were involved in the robbery, which happened in Las Piñas. The recent incident has raised concern among commuters and authorities.
In the video, the group can be seen boarding the jeep and suddenly started taking valuables from the passengers. Some victims were caught off guard as the suspects moved quickly and worked together.
Witnesses shared that one of the minors used an ice pick to threaten the passengers, creating fear and panic inside the vehicle. Because of this, the victims were unable to resist and were forced to hand over their belongings.
Authorities have already taken action regarding the incident. Seven of the minors are now under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to locate the other suspects, including the one who allegedly carried the weapon during the robbery.
Police are encouraging the victims to come forward and file formal complaints so the case can move forward properly. They also assured the public that they are continuing their investigation to identify all those involved and prevent similar incidents from happening again.
