PAGASA Says Hot & Humid Weather Condition Expected Over Most Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (March 23)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the country will experience hot and humid weather condition today.

On Wednesday (March 23, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the easterlies will be affecting parts of southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The Easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao and Mt. Province will experience similar weather condition due to the easterlies.

The localized thunderstorms and the easterlies will bring the same weather condition Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Occidental Mindoro, Mindanao region as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

However, Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda advised the public  to limit outdoor activities especially at noontime due to rising temperature. Most parts of the country will have a hot and humid weather condition.

“Sa kasalukuyan ay easterlies o mainit na hangin mula sa Dagat Pasipiko ang patuloy na umiiral dito sa bahagi ng Southern Luzon maging sa Visayas at Mindanao. Dala pa rin nito ang mainit at maalinsangang panahon at yung tsansa ng pulo-pulong pag-ulan, pagkulog at pagkidlat,” Castañeda said.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over some parts of extreme northern Luzon will be slight to moderate. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
