Is it true that Tom Rodriguez can’t accept this mistake?
Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez allegedly won’t admit that he became a scam victim when he tried to have his business venture.
Tom, along with his wife Carla Abellana, has been a hot topic in showbiz circles and social media platforms because of rumors claiming that their marriage is on the rocks.
Amid the controversy, the couple has remained silent and has not given chance to reporters to ask them about the current status of their relationship.
Based on the article by entertainment columnist Salve Asis in Pang-Masa, people were wondering why Tom Rodriguez is still in denial about the fact that he was deceived. “Marami nang nakakaalam tungkol sa isyu ng pagkakabudol sa actor lalo na ang kanyang kaibigan,” the showbiz writer said.
Asis added that the scam took all Tom’s money. “Nalimas ang mga ipon nito, life savings, kaya ngayon daw ay pinipilit diumano ng actor na bumangon,” she said.
The columnist also said that the actor has already apologized to the people to whom he promised to help. It is about his attempt to run for congressman under a party list but this plan did not materialize.
“Umasa itong magkakaroon ng malaking kita ang napasukan niyang negosyo na maitutulong niya sa ibang mga NGO na kinausap niya,” Asis said.
Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez tied the knot in October last year but just a few months after that, rumors surfaced that they broke up. Several versions of the alleged reason for the supposed breakup surfaced on social media.
There were those who speculated that there was a third party on Tom’s part and that allegedly he is gay. Just recently, Carla’s father, Rey PJ Abellana, mentioned the “one-night stand” mistake that Tom did but later on, he retracted what he said.
