The management of Kit Thompson released a statement on recent controversial incident
Actor Kit Thompson was brought to Philippine National Police (PNP) station in Tagaytay after the authorities rescued his girlfriend actress Ana Jalandoni and here is the statement that Cornerstone Entertainment released regarding this matter.
Reports said that a commotion happened in the hotel room of the couple. Ana also pleaded for help as she said that her boyfriend was hurting her. After she was rescued, she was given medical treatment while the authorities were questioning Kit.
A day prior to this controversial incident that shook the online community, the couple appeared to have a sweet moment on social media. Kit Thompson even expressed excitement to be with his girlfriend but what comes after was far from being sweet.
Because of initial reports regarding the issue, netizens have been criticizing the actor. Amid this issue, Cornerstone Entertainment Inc, the talent management firm handling the career of Kit, released a statement.
Based on the Twitter post of Kapamilya showbiz reporter MJ Felipe, Cornerstone said that this matter has just recently been brought to their knowledge. “We have just been informed that one of our artists, Mr. Kit Thompson, was allegedly involved in an incident that transpired last night in Tagaytay City, Cavite,” the talent management company said.
No formal report yet was brought to the company and so an official statement is yet to be released but it requested the public to refrain from spreading baseless reports.
“As we have yet to receive a formal report regarding the alleged incident, we could not give a response nor comment on the matter. However, we request the public to be mindful of casting judgment based on unfounded reports being circulated online,” the management of Kit Thompson said.
