An allegation surfaced against Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez regarding his rumored breakup with wife actress Carla Abellana.
It has been weeks since the rumor about this first circulated online. There was an unfollow-follow on the Instagram issue between them. These past few days, the actress has been liking comments of netizens against the actor.
Previously, they also seemed to have a “patutsadahan’ on social media as well as they posted intriguing posts. Amid this issue, the Kapuso stars are still not speaking about this, as of this writing.
In a recent episode of the digital talk show Take It… Per Minute, Me Ganun of Manay Lolit Solis, Manay Cristy Fermin, and Mr. Fu, they discussed the Carla Abellana-Tom Rodriguez rumored breakup.
It was rumored that one of the reasons for the alleged separation of the Kapuso stars was the attempt of the actor to enter the political arena. To recall, Tom filed his certificate of candidacy as the first nominee of the party-list Anak Maharlikang Pilipino (AMP). The second nominee was supposed to be Billy James Renacia who was previously part of the Ang Probinsyano series.
AMP intended to represent the marginalized sector of construction workers. However, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) did not include it in the final list of the party lists. Rumor has it that Tom Rodriguez already spent millions for this supposed political stint.
It was said that the actor was “nabola” and Carla Abellana was opposing her husband’s plan from the start. In the same episode of the showbiz digital talk show, a blind item stated that the wife caught her husband chatting with another man and netizens guessed that it was about the couple.
