These past few days, the couple has been the subjects of many showbiz news articles. It is because netizens noticed that the actress unfollowed Tom on Instagram and eventually followed him back again.

With this, breakup rumors surfaced. It was alleged that Tom and Carla have already broken up just months after their wedding. Rumors also surfaced that there was a third party on the actor’s end. However, the couple has not spoken directly about this.

Netizens also noticed that when Tom Rodriguez commented “I love you” on the post of Carla Abellana did not receive any reply from the latter.

Based on the article in PEP, just recently, Carla explained the reason why a certain account can be found on the list of followers. She showed that a social media user can remove accounts that are following her or him.

“If you go to a person’s IG account and click the 3 black dots on the upper right, IG actually gives you the option to ‘Remove follower.’ You can also go to your list of followers and REMOVE from there,” the actress wrote in her IG Story.

She also said that she is not a grade-schooler who would just unfollow and follow again the accounts of important persons in her life within a short period of time. Then, Carla Abellana has this intriguing statement, “On the other hand, it may actually be a skillful move if you’re playing a spiteful game.” The actress also reminded her social media followers about “distractions and diversions” on social media.

On Tom Rodriguez’s IG Story, he also had a meaningful statement about “blocking” on Instagram. “When you are blocked by someone you follow (Albeit temporarily), your likes on all their posts are automatically removed,” the actor said.
