Carla Abellana’s father revealed something about Tom Rodriguez
Seasoned actor Rey PJ Abellana, the father of Kapuso actress Carla Abellana, revealed that his daughter found out something about her husband actor Tom Rodriguez.
The issue between Carla and Tom has been lingering in the showbiz circle for quite a while now. Early this year, it was rumored that the Kapuso couple has broken up already.
Following this, it was alleged that there was a third party in Tom’s end but several female celebrities who were linked to him have denied the allegations. Aside from this, there were several speculated reasons for the supposed breakup.
One of them was the allegation that Tom Rodriguez is gay. The other one was the alleged problem that occurred when the actor spent his savings on a party list that was not approved by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
In a recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s talk show, Rey PJ Abellana was asked about the current issue between Tom and Carla. The seasoned actor shared that he and his son-in-law have talked already but he is still waiting to hear the side of his daughter.
When Rey PJ was asked by Cristy if the third party issue is true, he said that categorically, he can’t say that what happened can be called “third party”.
“Honestly speaking, hindi po natin mako-consider na third party ang sitwasyon kasi po ang pangyayari eh, one night stand eh,” Rey PJ Abellana said. He said that he understands what happened as he is also a man. The father of Carla said that temptation is part of life and this can’t be called a mortal sin.
The father of Carla was also asked if the gay issue is true. He said that he did not see any sign that would make him conclude that Tom Rodriguez is gay. “Hindi ko po nakikita yan at hindi ko pinaniniwalaan yan,” Rey PJ said.
The seasoned actor also said that he can’t say that Tom and Carla are already separated as they are still trying to fix whatever issue that they have.
