MOIRA DELA TORRE – Hit singer Moira Dela Torre trends online as she endorsed Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan.

Vice President Leni Robredo is running for president and with her for the vice president seat is Senator Kiko Pangilinan. In the past couple of months, their tandem maintained momentum for having been able to gather thousands of volunteers or “Kakampinks” to attend their rally. On the top spot, so far, is their rally in Negros Occidental, specifically in Bacolod, for collecting over 70,000 “kakampinks”.

And now, adding to their list of artists and adding to the list of famous personalities supporting the Leni-Kiko tandem is Moira Dela Torre, a hit singer. She is currently in Zamboanga for their rally and her mere presence and performance have made her land on the list of top trending topics as of this posting.

“Hindi kami bayad,” quips Moira before the big crowd of the Leni-Kiko rally. This is also her response to the accusations that she was paid to perform. The people’s rally was held at the Cesar C. Climaco Freedom Park and her performance is out of her own free will. She volunteered to perform.

The venue of the event is symbolic. It was named after the slain Zamboanga mayor who was strongly against the Marcos dictatorship.
