Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero Praises Vice Pres. Leni Robredo
CHIZ ESCUDERO – The Sorsogon Governor lauded Vice President Leni Robredo following the CNN Presidential Debate 2022.
The campaign period is currently ongoing in the Philippines. Aside from the candidates visiting as many cities and provinces as they could reach before the campaign period is over, there are also invitations for them to interviews and debate events.
Recently, the CNN Presidential Debate 2022 took place. It was graced by nine (9) out of ten presidential bets for the upcoming poll. Only former Senator Bongbong Marcos was not present during the presidential debate.
The presidential candidates laid their platforms and their stands to certain national issues. They were also faced with the issues that are usually thrown at them.
Following the CNN Presidential Debate 2022, former senator and incumbent Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero lauded some of the presidential candidates who attended the event. In a Tweet, he praised Vice Pres. Leni Robredo as “very presidentiable, full of substance, to the point & humble yet confident”.
Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero also lauded Secretary Abella and Sen. Lacson “who showed their vast experience”. Here’s his post on Twitter:
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo is the only female candidate for the 2022 Presidential Election. She is running as an independent candidate and has tapped Liberal Party’s vice-presidential bet, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, as her running-mate.
Vice Pres. Robredo is vocal about her desire to expand the programs that they have started in the Office of the Vice President to help the people amid the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also a staunch critic of corruption and she stressed that fighting corruption in the government will be one of the main focus of her administration should she win as the country’s next chief executive.
The Vice President emphasized that a system that prevents the officials from corrupting must be established.
