Meet Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s Lookalike in Cagayan de Oro City
LENI ROBREDO’S LOOKALIKE – Ma. Lourdes Caiña, a lookalike of the Vice President, attended her campaign event in Cagayan de Oro City.
The candidates of the May 2022 Election are currently busy campaigning in different cities and provinces across the nation. They are doubling their efforts to reach more people before the official campaign period is over.
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo who is one of the 10 presidential candidates in the upcoming election and the only female candidate had the kick-off of her campaign in Naga, Camarines Sur. After it, she began visiting different areas to meet with her supporters.
Recently, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo campaigned in Cagayan de Oro City. It gathered many of the supporters of the presidential candidate including Vice Pres. Leni Robredo‘s lookalike – Ma. Lourdes Caiña.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the friends of Ma. Lourdes Caiña have long recognized her as Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s lookalike. They even call her “VP” but more people noticed their similarities when she was asked by a friend to impersonate the Vice President as a judge in an event during their town festival.
According to Caiña, an old woman was the first to tell her that she has similar eyes with Vice Pres. Robredo’s after the incident that resulted in the death of former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo. The husband of Vice Pres. Robredo died in a plane crash.
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s lookalike said that many people were pranked and many individuals asked a photo with her. She also answers interviews to the best of what she knows and she enjoys doing it. However, based on the report, she also had her share of criticisms like the tirades that the Vice President is receiving.
“What is so sad is that ‘yong mga bashers nila, it’s way, way below the belt… Gawin n’yo ‘yan sa isang tao na wala namang kasalanan sa inyo, it only reflects what we are deep inside,” Caiña said.
According to the office employee, her husband and her two (2) children are affected by the basher’s criticisms – “Kasi may mga comments… ‘Baka bobo rin ‘yan,’ ‘Baka lutang din ‘yan,'”.
Caiña hopes that Vice Pres. Robredo is the president that will help restore mutual respect among Filipinos. Many youngsters asked for a selfie with her during the campaign event of the Vice President.
