Jake has been sharing posts showing his support for the presidential candidacy of VP Leni. Based on the article in PEP, the actor said that he has not thought about the conflict within his family for their different political views.

Although he has been posting support for Robredo, the actor admitted that he is conscious not to be reprimanded by his father.

“I’d like to think na hindi siya conflict. Parang… gusto ko ma-normalize naman na it’s okay to have different opinions. Pero lahat naman tayo, Pilipino. We all want the same thing,” Jake Ejercito said.

He stressed that it is just politics and the polling will just happen for a day. After this, Jake said that everyone should end the “fight” already. The actor also shared that he was offered to do an election advocacy ad as well, just like what Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban did.

However, Jake said that he is still thinking about this. When asked about the possibility of joining politics, he said that there were those who are convincing him but his family is not grooming him to be in the political arena anytime soon.

I already told them na desidido ako na ito muna yung career na tatahakin ko. And supportive naman sila,” Jake Ejercito shared. He was part of the recently-concluded Marry Me, Marry You series and he is set to have a special appearance in The Broken Marriage Vow.
