Paulo Avelino has this statement about Jake Ejercito
Actor Paulo Avelino has this reaction to the remark that his Marry Me, Marry You co-actor Jake Ejercito is “mayabang”.
Paulo is playing the lead male character in the said primetime series opposite actress Janine Gutierrez. Jake is playing the childhood best friend of Paulo’s character who also has an interest in Janine’s character.
Through this project, Paulo was able to be closer to Janine. They already shot a movie that is yet to be released. The actor said that he is surprised by the overwhelming support that their onscreen tandem has received.
He said that he hoped that his tandem with Janine will have its following but he did not expect to reach to level of popular love teams such as KathNiel and LizQuen.
Paulo Avelino also shared that he got closer to other members of the cast, based on the article in Inquirer, and this included Jake Ejercito.
The older actor said that people are wrong to think that the younger actor is “mayabang”. Paulo said that actually, Jake is a good person and people just need to know him deeper.
“He’s a nice guy, even though the stigma that he is mayabang has long been attached to his image. You will never know someone’s true personality until you get to spend a lot of time with him, until you are able to see through the mask that he wears in public. Jake is a good guy,” Paulo said about his co-actor.
Meanwhile, Paulo Avelino shared that because of the good chemistry between him and Janine Gutierrez that the viewers have seen, they got invited to have a show in the States. It is because even the Filipino community abroad loves their tandem.
“Because the program is so successful, the two of us got invited to a show in the United States next year,” the actor shared.
