The filmmaker, it appears, was unconcerned about the attacks directed at him because of the hashtag. The youthful director scolded his detractors, particularly supporters of Leni Robredo, the Vice President and presidential candidate.

“You can troll my account, you can twist my statements, you can maliciously cut tweets, you can cancel me all-you-can, you can make me look bad. You can recruit haters to bash me,” he said in his post.

In addition, he stated three purported facts. According to him, “18 hours per day everyday will kill you,” which seems to refer to Robredo’s alleged claim that she works 18 hours everyday at the OVP (Office of the Vice President).

“2. You can’t fight my #LenLen content. 3. Leni Robredo will never be president. Your Hate will not translate to Votes. IYAK.” Yap insisted. It also includes the hashtags: #thecolorofHATE #thecolorofCANCEL #thecolorofPinkon

In the meanwhile, you may view Kape Chronicles episodes on his Facebook page VinCentiments. The first part of this series was titled “Bitter Len-len” and it was followed by “Lutang Len-len”.

The third part of the Kape Chronicles was released on February 10. The video also included comedian Juliana Parizcova Segovia and Roanna Marie, in addition to Sen. Imee.
