Video of Vehicle Driver Trying to Escape After Hitting Illegally Parked Motorcycle Elicits Reactions from Netizens
The video footage of a vehicle driver who tried to escape after hitting an illegally parked motorcycle goes viral online.
Illegal parking is considered as a traffic violation wherein a certain motor vehicle parked in a restricted place in an unauthorized manner. The law prohibits vehicle to park in the middle of a highway or road.
Parking violation could also cause inconvenience to the public and may lead to traffic congestions. Violators can face corresponding sanctions and penalties.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTC & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of a vehicle driver who tried to escape after hitting an illegally parked motorcycle. The video garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that a car driver is slowly driving along the traffic congested road together with other vehicles. The driver reached the intersection and wait for other vehicles to pass.
After a few moments, a gray pickup take a turn but accidentally hit an illegally parked motorcycle along the road. The motorcycle probably suffered minor damage and scratches due to the incident.
However, the pickup driver seems to be unbothered and tried to escape its liability. Luckily, a concerned citizen blocked the culprit and prevented him from running away.
The video has a caption of:
“Bakit naman kasi doon nag parking.
Pero hindi tama na tatakasan mo, salute to you sir!”
