Robin Padilla Reacts to Erik Matti Criticizing Toni Gonzaga’s “Unbothered” Post
Senatorial aspirant Robin Padilla has lambasted Director Erik Matti after criticizing Toni Gonzaga for posting being “unbothered”.
Robin Padilla reacted to film director Erik Matti’s criticism of TV host, Toni Gonzaga, on social media. Toni was charged by Erik for being arrogant in her support for politicians who have been accused of political wrongdoing in the past, as well as those who have campaigned for the demise of her home network, ABS-CBN.
Toni has the right to support anyone she wants, according to the director, but doing so shamelessly is what irritates him. However, Robin told Erik that Toni has the freedom to support any politicians she wishes.

The action star also accused the filmmaker of disregarding other people’s freedoms. Erik, he added, should learn about both sides of a tale since he is a director. Erik was also slammed by Robin for posting his criticism on Toni in English.
“Ano ba yun napanood mo na sinasabi mo Erik matti Baka propaganda ang ibig mo sabihin nakikisawsaw ka pa sa pagbanat kay TONI G,” Padilla wrote on Facebook.
“Kung May karapatan ka sumuporta sa kandidato mo May karapatan din si TONI G. Hindi ka naman pinakikialaman ng Tao sa sinusuportahan mo Pa inglis inglis ka pa,” he said.
Gonzaga has the “artistic and political freedom” to endorse any candidate in the elections, according to Padilla. He also gave a lesson to individuals who preach about freedom yet don’t respect the right of others to voice their opinions.
“You love to talk about freedom but you don’t respect the freedom of others. Director ka diba kasama sa pinag aralan mo ang pag alam sa two sides ng istorya. Anong makuha mo in Bullying a woman,” he said.
After inviting Marcos and his running companion, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio, for a proclamation rally in Bulacan last Tuesday, Gonzaga has sparked a political firestorm. The Kapamilya talent also introduced senatorial contender Rep. Rodante Marcoleta, one of the legislators who voted against the ABS-CBN network’s franchise renewal in 2020.
Gonzaga became a trending topic on Twitter when she was chastised for attending Marcos. She later stated that she was stepping down as the primary host of ABS-CBN’s “Pinoy Big Brother” after 16 years, following backlash for alleged ingratitude to the Kapamilya network.
