Bongbong Marcos said thank you to Toni Gonzaga
Presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos expressed gratitude to actress-host Toni Gonzaga for hosting the proclamation rally of UniTeam.
Toni was the solo host of the campaign kick-off of BBM and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, together with their senatorial candidates. It was held at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, not the hometown of BBM nor the “balwarte” of Inday Sara.
Despite that fact, the former Senator said in a recent post on his social media accounts that it was a “makasaysayang gabi”. Bongbong Marcos thanked Toni Gonzaga for her remarkable hosting stint.
“Taos pusong pasasalamat kay Toni Gonzaga-Soriano sa pagiging host ng Uniteam Proclamation Rally,” the presidential aspirant said.
He also said that the event that night is unforgettable for him and for his running mate Mayor Sara Duterte.
“Isang makasaysayang gabi na hindi namin malilimutan ni Mayor Inday Sara kapiling ang aming mga tagasuporta, pamilya, kaibigan at mga nanindigan para sa ating samahan ng pagkakaisa – gaya mo Toni. Maraming salamat muli sa lahat!” Bongbong Marcos said.
In her recent post on her Instagram story, Toni shared this appreciation post from BBM with this caption: “You’re welcome my President @bongbongmarcos (victory hand emoji).”
Toni Gonzaga’s husband, director Paul Soriano, once again showed his support for the presidential candidacy of Bongbong Marcos. He also called the former Senator “My President”.
Amid the bashing, the celebrity couple stands firm in their political conviction. Toni, apparently, has chosen to just ignore the negative reactions that she received online because of this.
