Is it true that Willie Revillame will leave GMA-7?
Rumor has it that Wowowin host Willie Revillame will transfer to the newly acquired television frequency of business tycoon Manny Villar that was previously owned by ABS-CBN.
Late last month, reports surfaced that the Advanced Media Broadcasting System of Villar took over the frequencies previously belonged to the Kapamilya network. The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has already given the said media company to have its test broadcast.
Based on the article in PEP, it was rumored that Willie Revillame will join the network of the billionaire businessman. It is known to many that the veteran TV host is close to Villar.
According to rumors, Kuya Wil has already talked to the management of GMA-7 regarding this matter. However, there is no confirmation yet coming from both camps.
Willie’s show Wowowin: Tutok To Win is produced by his company WBR Entertainment Productions and GMA Network. Based on reports, Villar’s new TV network is set to have its test broadcast on February 14 and it is expected that Kuya Wil will be one of its flag carriers.
With this, PEP entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula recalled the February 3 episode of Tutok to Win in which the veteran host shared that February 4 will be the last day of their show production in his resort/hotel.
However, Willie did not mention if they will be going back to GMA studio. Because of that statement of the game talk host and the rumors about his network transfer, Rula said that what Willie said in the show last Thursday appeared to have a deeper meaning now.
Willie Revillame has been expressing many times now that he wants people to continue watching his show as he wants also to continue helping people through Wowowin.
