Here’s the reason why Karen Davila was refrained to interview politicians for a video blog.
KAREN DAVILA – One of the highly respected anchors is Karen Davila but she can’t interview politicians in her vlogs because of this reason.
This year’s upcoming election is becoming more crucial as the country approaches the day of the election. It’s becoming crucial because of many issues and voters are setting their standards higher when it comes to choosing the leader who best fits to lead in a clean and compassionate way. And one way that can help people understand and determine their stand to choose is through interviews.
Interviews will make the politician aspiring for a certain position layout his or her plans, intentions, and vision for the future of the country. These interviews will give the public pointers on who to vote for. And one of the personalities being encouraged to interview politicians is Karen Davila. Many people have been telling her to do it being among the most respected anchors in the country.
She heard them but unfortunately, she was refrained to do so. This is because of her inclusion as one of the main anchors of flagship news program ABS-CBN, the TV Patrol. Through her Instagram stories, she expressed, “Having joined TV Patrol last October as one of its news anchors, I am restrained from doing political interviews on my vlog specially during this campaign period. Tama po ito.”
Davila believes that being a part of a bigger news team, such matters as the elections must be taken to ABS-CBN or ANC, not her channel but she assured her supporters that she will do more inspiring stories on her channel.
