Jim Paredes Called Marcos “Duwag” Over Absence from Interview

Jim Paredes Called Marcos “Duwag” for No-Show on Presidential Interview

Singer Jim Paredes chides Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr and called him ‘duwag’ for over his absence on presidential interview.

The legendary OPM singer did not hold back in criticizing presidential candidate and former senator Bongbong Marcos. In several of his social media posts, he referred to Marcos as a coward for not taking on prominent journalist Jessica Soho.

“LAME.. Ok maging takot pero dapat harapin mo..D pwedeng absent. DUWAG,” said Paredes while responding to former senate president Juan Ponce Enrile’s defense of Marcos.

Paredes also referred to the former senator as a con artist. In addition, the OPM singer branded him “tiger katol” since his supposed image of a “tiger of the north” was untrue.

“The Tiger of the North is all smoke and mirrors. Ang totoo,Tiger Katol siya. Puro usok lang,” Paredes said.

The Marcos camp has yet to reply to Paredes’ charges, despite the fact that he is a known supporter of Vice President Leni Robredo. It will be recalled that Marcos was chastised for not appearing on GMA News’ ‘The Presidential Interviews.’

Marcos’ crew said Jessica Soho was ‘biased,’ so they didn’t show up for the interview. According to the candidate’s camp, the mentioned popular talk show is anti-Marcoses, thus her questions are expected to focus solely on the negative aspects of BBM, which the UniTeam despises.

“We will not subscribe as it hopes that the discourse in any forum about this coming elections must focus on how the aspiring presidents will solve our country’s lingering problems caused by the pandemic and what their plans are for our country to roll up from economic stagnation,” the camp said.
