Archie Alemania was accused of physically hurting Gee Canlas
Actor Archie Alemania refused to react to the physical abuse allegation from his estranged wife, actress Gee Canlas.
To recall, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz uploaded on August 29, 2026, his interview with Gee in which she accused Archie of physical and mental abuse during their marriage.
She alleged that her estranged husband broke two of her ribs during a violent physical altercation. Gee also said that Archie strangled her twice in the course of their relationship.
The actress also said that she has kept evidence to back up everything she is revealing about the physical and emotional abuse she experienced from her estranged husband.
Entertainment writer Gorgy Rula shared in his recent article in Pang-Masa that Archie Alemania no longer wishes to respond to the statements made by his wife, Gee Canlas, particularly regarding the issue of physical abuse.
Rula said that they tried reaching out to some of the actor’s close friends to get his side of the story.
Even if the actor preferred not to speak personally, the entertainment writer asked if he could provide a statement through his legal counsel.
However, Archie asked for understanding regarding his decision not to respond to Gee’s remarks.
It was said that Archie told their mutual friend that what he had already said during his exclusive interview with Ogie Diaz was sufficient.
He acknowledged that, regardless of what he might say, public sympathy would likely side with the woman. Rula mentioned that Archie felt that sharing his side during that previous interview was enough.
It was also said that another concern Archie Alemania has is the welfare of their children.
“Kung hindi lang sa mga bata, kahit unli interview. Kahit unli bashing, okay lang. Kaso sila ang mas maaapektuhan kasi napasok sila sa school,” Archie shared in a text message.
