Cops Searches for 10 Missing Men Who Visited “Sabungan” in Laguna & Manila
The police authorities are investigation the disappearance of 10 men who went missing after visiting a ‘sabungan’ in Laguna and Manila.
Four male friends reportedly gone missing after going to a cockfighting area in Sta. Cruz, Laguna last January 13, 2022. The victims could not be contacted for over a week now, according to the report.
The missing individuals identified as Manny Magbanua, Mark Paul Fernandine, Melbert John Santos and Ferdinand Dizon reportedly talked to a financier before heading to the area to participate to a cockfight, according to a relative of a missing gambler.
A CCTV footage shows the vehicle used by the victims while leaving the coliseum. However, it was still unclear if the victims were inside the vehicle. Another victim from a grocery in Laguna caught the vehicle heading to Manila.
Last January 14, six individuals went to Manila arena in Sta. Ana, Manila to participate in a cockfight. The victims have been identified as John Claude Inonog, Marlon Baccay, James Baccay, Mark Joseph Velasco, Rondel Cristorum, and Rowel Gomez. The gamblers used a Tamaraw FX to go to the venue.
According to CIDG-Manila chief Police Lieutenant Wilfredo Fabros Jr., one of the relatives of the missing men received a report that their relative has been taken to a white van.
Currently, the authorities are still investigating the incident to find out the reason for the disappearance of the victims. Fabros said that the cops found the Tamaraw FX abandoned in Tanay, Rizal.
