Pokwang Says Aga Muhlach Allegedly Though She Was Gay
Actress and comedienne Pokwang shared that actor Aga Muhlach previously mistook her as gay when she enters showbiz.
Marietta Subong or popularly known as Pokwang reveals her poor origins before becoming an actress in the second segment of Ogie Diaz’s vlog. She reflected on her upbringing and revealed that she hailed from a disadvantaged household. There are twelve siblings in her family.
Due to her poverty, she allegedly took on a variety of jobs to supplement her money, including selling sweepstakes and other activities. She said that dire poverty prompted her to travel to Japan to pursue a career as an artist.

She is said to have met the Japanese father of her firstborn son, who died of congenital brain disease when she was there. She apparently met another Japanese national three years later, who was the father of her daughter Risa Mae.
She was also said to have worked as a domestic servant in Abu Dhabi. In entertainment, she was discovered by comedian Eric Nicolas, who was hunting for talent for ABS-CBN, in a comedy bar.
This is claimed to be what prompted him to join the Kapamilya network’s “Clown in a Million” feature. She was crowned grand champion. She was even mistaken by Mr. M and even Ma’am Charo Santos, as a beki or gay, she was still perplexed.
She acts like a homosexual lady if she makes others laugh. She claimed that she had a similar experience with Aga Muhlach when she was able to work on the movie “Dubai”.
She was appreciated for her gorgeous legs, but she was also suspected of being a beki. Pokwang claims that getting to where she is currently in life was not simple. She expressed her gratitude for being able to support her children on her own.
