Netizen Gives Reminders to Parents Asking Children to Convert Free Meal to Cash

A male netizen gives a heartwarming message to parents who usually respond “Perahin mo na lang!” to their kids inviting them for a treat.

A Facebook user named “Alex Diaz Tatoy” has shared a reminder to the parents who frequently answers “Perahin mo na lang!” to their children. The post circulate online and elicits comments from the social media users.

Tatoy reminded the parents to appreciate every single coming from their children who were working hard for them after retirement. He explained that young people like them want to treat his parents with something new and sumptuous.

Alex also encouraged the parents to accept their kid’s offer and not to refuse because it was quite offending. He even described the regular respond “Gastos lang ‘yan, perahin mo na lang” as painful words.

The male netizen told the public to grab the opportunity to spend time with their family, he also explained that young professionals have the right mindset when it comes to their budget and expenses.

Diaz urged everyone to remove the “Mahirap Mindset” and the urge for money. He said that money is truly important but there are many things, which were important than money.

Sa mga parents po, kapag ililibre sa labas or idi-date po tayo ng mga anak natin lalo’t galing sa pinaghirapan nilang trabaho, ‘wag naman po nating sabihing,

“Perahin mo na lang!”

Masakit po ‘yan. Sa hirap ng buhay, minsan gusto po tayong i-treat ng mga anak natin by eating something new and sumptuous. Sobrang aware po ang mga anak natin na kailangan n’yo rin po ng pera, pero kapag naglalambing na ilibre kayo ng anak n’yo, ‘wag n’yo namang i-turn down by saying, “Gastos lang ‘yan, perahin mo na lang.”

Hindi po natin ikina-praktikal o ikina-simple every time na pinipili natin ang pera over bonding kasama ang anak.

Again, alam po ng anak kung may sobra sa budget kaya malakas ang loob mag-aya. At hindi naman madalas tayong inaaya na kumain sa labas. Malay n’yo bibigyan pala kayo ng pera kapag nasa mall na kayo.

Tanggalin po natin ang pang-mahirap na mindset na parang ang kailangan lang natin sa mundo ay pera, na para bang hindi tayo makagalaw kung walang pera. Importante po ang pera, pero maraming mas mahalagang bagay over it.

So, next time, kapag inaya po tayo ng mga anak natin to eat outside, ngumiti po tayo at um-oo. Grabeng stress po ang tinitiis ng iba nating mga anak sa trabaho para lang mailibre tayo.
