Luis Manzano Shares Interesting Story About His Dad Edu Manzano
LUIS MANZANO – Kapamilya host and model Luis Manzano shared an interesting story about his father Edu Manzano.
Tv host Luis Manzano is he only son of veteran actors Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. Although the two celebrities have separated, they’re still able to maintain a good relationship for the sake of their son.
Edu and Vilma have raised him well. Now, the 40-year-old celebrity is one of the best in the field of hosting.
In his recent vlog, Luis Manzano has a heart-to-heart conversation with his dad Edu after having one with his mom. In the vlog, he asked him questions he had never asked him yet.
Meanwhile, in the same vlog, Luis also shared a funny story about his dad. The tv host narrated that his dad once entered the classroom wearing only a towel.

Luis Manzano said it happened in the class of well-known director Joey Javier Reyes when his dad was still studying Economics at De La Salle Universe Manila. He said, “Si Daddy, varsity dati ng La Salle. Alam mo ba si Daddy ang kauna-unahang pumasok sa classroom na naka-tuwalya lang? Totoo ‘to. Totoo. Ang teacher ni Daddy nun ay si Direk Joey Javier Reyes.”
“Si Daddy, part ng varsity. Tapos sabi ni Direk Joey, ‘pag na-late pa siya isang beses, dropped na ‘yung class niya. Eh kelangan niya kasi varsity. Eh napasarap ‘yung ligo [niya] after practice,” he added.
Edu Manzano explained that his scholarship will be lost if he is dropped from Direk Javier’s class. He said, “Sabi nga niya, one more time, isang beses lang na ma-late ka, eh talagang ida-drop kita. Eh three units din ‘yun. Malalagot ‘yung scholarship. So napilitan ako, umakyat agad ng klase, tumakbo na naka-tuwalya lang.”
He continued: “Tapos pagpasok ko na naka-tuwalya. Sabi nga ni Joey, ‘Ano ka, nagpapatawa? Ano ka, komedyante?’ Sabi ko, ‘Hindi ho, ganito ho ‘yan.’ Sabi niya, ‘O sige, diyan ka, umupo ka na.’”
“So umupo ako sa upuan ko. Ang ginawa niya, ‘Hindi, doon ka sa isang upuan, ‘yung pinakamalapit sa aircon.’ So doon ako umupo buong klase. Tatlong araw akong nagkasakit,” he added.
