Here’s the reaction of Edu Manzano to Luis Manzano-Jessy Mendiola engagement
Before 2020 ended, celebrity couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola announced their engagement, and here is what veteran actor Edu Manzano said about this.
Although a controversy rose along with their engagement announcement, the happiness of Jessy and Luis for the next chapter of their lives as a couple is still evident.
In a previous article, Luis’s mother Star for all Season Vilma Santos expressed that her praise towards Jessy as the fiancée of her son.
A recent article in PEP shared the reaction of Luis’s father, Edu Manzano, about his engagement. The veteran actor said that it is a good thing that his son found someone who really understands him.
He explained that in the entertainment industry, it is quite a challenge to do that because of the nature of their work.
“’Coz, you know, being married at kung ikaw ay bahagi ng industriya natin, you, makikita mo rin kung gaano kahirap ang mag-maintain din ng isang marriage. Kasi lalo na yung mga oras… kung saan ka dinadala ng iyong mga trabaho,” Edu said.
He also said that Luis apparently waited a long time pondering on this matter before finalizing his decision. “So, I’m happy for him, kasi siya lang ang nakakaalam,” the veteran actor said.
When he was asked about the trait of Jessy Mendiola that caught the heart of Luis Manzano, Edu Manzano said that he is not in the position to say anything about that but he knows that his son took a big step for her.
