They have clearly violated the rules and her alleged misbehavior has infected at least 15 other people from that Poblacion party she attended which included some of her friends and staff of the bar and restaurant. In a previous article, despite her irresponsible actions, Mayor Abby Binay of Makati decided not to declare her persona non grata of their city. And now, Carlos Laurel, one of the guests of the party who has gotten himself exposed to Chua who was COVID-19 positive, made some revelations.
Carlos is the first person from that party to speak. He is the son of former It Girl and top model Crispy Santamaria-Laurel and businessman Arsenic Laurel. He revealed that Chua was actually not invited to attend the party. He is not aware that Chua, at that time, has skipped quarantine but upon learning what really happened, he took immediate action. He’s lucky he did not get the virus despite being in close contact with her.
He also mentioned that he is compliant with protocols and does not condone a breach thereof. In his statement, he added one revelation, Chua was not invited to that party. He shared, “Gwyneth is the girlfriend of a friend of my younger cousins who passed by at the end of dinner, Gwyneth was NOT invited to dinner by me or my relatives.”
Laurel then added, “As to not interfere with the said investigation, I was advised by them not to further comment on the situation until its conclusion. I hope this has shed some transparency on the false accusations of my involvement in the breaching of quarantine protocols. Thank you again. Stay safe.”
