Kris Bernal has this statement about having just a few celebrity friends
Actress-vlogger Kris Bernal revealed the reason why she chose not to have many friends in the entertainment industry.
For more than 10 years of being an actress, Kris has already done a lot of TV projects and has worked with different actors and actresses. With this span of time, she has already met a lot of people in showbiz.
However, she shared during a recent interview on Toni Gonzaga’s YouTube channel that her friends in show business are not that many. After talking about details of her showbiz journey, Kris was asked about her husband Perry Choi.
The actress said that she found a best friend in Perry. “Kasi sa showbiz ang hirap makahanap ng true friend, parang ganun,” Kris Bernal said. She also shared that people would ask her why she has no friends in showbiz.
Even during her wedding, there were just a few or almost no one from the industry was there. “Never talaga akong nagkaroon ng dikit na dikit na showbiz friend,” she shared. The actress said that she is afraid of making friends in the industry and it is because she does not know who will be true to her.
“Hindi mo alam kung sino pagkakatiwalaan mo, di ba?” Kris said adding that there are times that people who are very close to you will the ones who will bring you down.
Kris Bernal stressed that she really considers her husband as her best friend. It is because Perry Choi accepts her for whoever she is and she has received support from her for whatever she wants to do. “Tanggap ako ng buong-buo,” she said. Kris also agreed with Toni when the latter said that Perry is a gift from God.
