Xian Lim shared his thoughts on his “temporarily shelved” project in GMA
Actor-host Xian Lim admitted that he was worried when his first project in the Kapuso network, the Love.Die.Repeat. series with Jennylyn Mercado, was temporarily shelved.
The production for the said teleserye has already started but news surfaced that the lock-in taping was cut short due to a medical emergency. It was because Jennylyn got pregnant with her longtime partner Dennis Trillo.
Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the former Kapamilya actor was worried when this project did not push through for now. Xian Lim had this question: “What’s gonna happen am I gonna be given another story?”
However, he said that he and the whole team are very happy for Jennylyn. “Of course, we’re all very happy for Jennylyn. Congratulations. But at the same time, there was that worry na, ‘Kailan kaya magre-resume yung show? Are we gonna stop completely, what’s gonna happen?’” he said.
Thankfully, Xian got another project in the Kapuso network. It is a series with Glaiza de Castro titled False Positive and the actor said that he is enjoying doing this project. “Something different ito, para naman medyo konting pa bad boy na makita ng viewers natin,” the actor shared about his role.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu, the girlfriend of Xian Lim shared that although they are now in a different network, this situation does not affect their relationship.
The Chinita Princess also said that they are always supporting each other’s careers. Kim stressed that wherever there is work, she understands that her boyfriend should be there, especially since the Kapamilya network has not offered any project for him.
