Slater Young, Kryz Uy Share Photos & Videos of Devastation Left by Super Typhoon Odette In Cebu
TYPHOON ODETTE – Couple Slater Young and Kryz Uy shared photos and videos of super typhoon Odette’s aftermath in Cebu.
Super typhoon Odette (international name: Rai) first made landfall in Cebu on Thursday, December 16. It entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) last December 14 then intensified into a typhoon on Wednesday morning, December 15.
It is the strongest typhoon to hit the country his year. More than 300,000 people left their homes as it devastates Eastern provinces in the Visayas and Northern Mindanao.
Typhoon Odette immediately caused damage. It destroyed power poles, roofs, and knocked out electricity and communications in many areas. The typhoon’s property damage in Siargao reportedly already costs billions.
Based on a report from Inquirer, the super typhoon also left more than 70 people dead. Bohol Governor Arthur Yap said ten (10) people were still missing and thirteen were injured after the typhoon.

Cebuano celebrity couple Slater Young and Kryz Uy shared photos and videos of the devastation left by the super typhoon in Cebu City where their family is based. On IG, the engineer and former “Pinoy Big Brother” big winner shared a series of videos showing what was left behind on the street.
“We are safe. Cebu’s a mess. No power. No net. Just got signal. People are lining up for water, food, and gas…”
“We have family members that lost their homes. Liteblock got looted. A lot of our employees are now homeless – using our factory as a temporary shelter for them. We’re trying to help out where we can. Praying for everyone,” he added.
Meanwhile, Kryz Uy uploaded pictures of their own house. It can be seen in the photos that tree branches are scattered everywhere.
