Alden Richards talked about his charitable endeavor
Multimedia star Alden Richards is motivated to showcase the AR Foundation that he established in his upcoming documentary concert Forward: Meet Richard R. Faulkerson Jr.
Alden has been in the industry for 11 years now and he has already done various projects on TV and on the big screen. Aside from acting, he already ventured into hosting and singing. Just recently, he added a new job description under his name and it is “philanthropist”.
He established the AR Foundation through the guidance of the people close to him but prior to this, he has been doing charity works already. His foundation aims to provide financial assistance to students.
Through this, he was able to support the education of 14 scholars currently, based on the article in The Philippine Star. “From this number, two graduated from college with degrees in IT and Electrical Engineering,” the Kapuso star said. Prior to the launch of the foundation, Alden has already started helping students. “I want them (the people) to see that the foundation is there for them, especially the kids who struggle with their education,” Alden Richards shared.
His goal to help poor students pushed him to produce his documentary concert. In his upcoming concert on January 30, 2022, he will also talk about his foundation and present it to the public in order for the people to understand it.
In the concert, he will tell the story of how he started his charity work. “Si AR Foundation po talaga ang bida sa concert na ito,” he said. Through this show, he will be showing also the other side of Alden Richards, the one behind the camera, that not many people know.
