Luis Manzano Reacts To His Old Acting Roles & The Stories Behind

Here are some stories behind the roles of Luis Manzano in his past projects.

LUIS MANZANO – Kapamilya host Luis Manzano looks back to some of the iconic acting roles he did before he focused on hosting.

Luis Philippe Santos Manzano or Luis Manzano in the show business industry is one of the most in-demand hosts in the country. However, before he became so famous as a host, he landed on several acting projects as a kickstart of his showbiz career. As much as many people know, he is the only son of veteran actors Edu Manzano and Vilma Santos.

As an actor, he is a part of movies and series like All About Love, Ang Cute ng Ina Mo, In My Life, Moron 5 and the Crying Lady, This Guy’s in Love with U Mare!, Komiks Presents: Paa ni Isabella, Dyosa, Komiks Presents: Flash Bomba, and many more.

And now, in his recent vlog, he recalled some of the characters he played and shared some stories behind them. One of them is Kampanerang Kuba where his chemistry with Anne Curtis was first discovered. And what has remained remarkable to him were the moments where he needs to cry. He joked about being “pangit” when he cries but he has also found what can trigger him to shed tears.

He also looked back to his role in Crazy For You where he was paired with Toni Gonzaga and he really commends her acting. Luis also did an action-packed fantaserye and what’s memorable to him is his fight scene with Rafael Rosell. He also recalled the most hassle role he played and that is in Dyosa with Anne where he played a syokoy role named Gibut.

His role needed prosthetics and the process of putting them in his body has taken hours. And there was also one incident where the latex melted on his leg’s hair. He said, “Akala ko may nang-trip sa akin, naglagay ng pandikit. Nasa point na ako na maghahanap na ako ng away para lang malaman kung sino.”
