AWRA BRIGUELA – What started as an ordinary lunch became a memorable experience for Awra after a talented cafe crew member handed her a portrait he had made himself.
TV and social media personality Awra Briguela was filled with joy after receiving a heartfelt gift from a cafe crew member who took the time to draw her portrait. In a Facebook post on her personal account on Monday, August 10, Awra shared how the unexpected gesture happened while she was spending time at her favorite spot at school.
According to Awra, she was simply having lunch when one of the cafe’s new crew members approached her and handed her a portrait he had personally drawn.
“Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impact. Grabe, I was just having lunch at my favorite spot in school when one of the new cafe crew members gave me this portrait,” said Awra.
She also revealed that the cafe worker created the artwork during his free time after frequently seeing her at the establishment.
“He told me he drew it during his free time because he always noticed me eating there. Thank you for sharing your talent with me. This means a lot.”
The simple yet thoughtful gesture appeared to bring happiness to Awra, who expressed her appreciation for the crew member’s effort and talent. Her post also highlighted how small acts of kindness can make a lasting impression, especially when they are given sincerely and without expecting anything in return.
The heartwarming moment comes after Awra recently faced criticism over a misunderstanding involving a netizen’s comment. She had initially interpreted the comment as having a different intention, only to later realize that the person was actually trying to help.
Following the incident, Awra issued another statement to explain what happened and acknowledge her mistake. She said she felt extremely embarrassed after realizing that she had misunderstood the netizen’s message.
Meanwhile, months before the latest incident, Awra also received what she described as an offensive comment from a professor at a university in Manila.
Because of the incident, Awra said she was considering formally reporting the matter to the university administration. She also planned to gather statements from other individuals who may have experienced what she described as improper treatment from the professor.
Despite the controversies she has encountered, Awra’s latest post offered a more positive moment, showing how a simple portrait and a sincere gesture can brighten someone’s day.
