Lian Paz reveals something regarding the annulment case with Paolo Contis that is ongoing until now.
PAOLO CONTIS – Former dancer Lian Paz speaks about the annulment case filed on marriage with Kapuso actor Paolo Contis.
Last 2018, when actor Paolo Contis announced that he and his ex-girlfriend LJ Reyes are expecting their child together, gave a short statement regarding his annulment case. Accordingly, it is still ongoing and with how the court and law are handled in the country, he expressed that they would have to wait longer.
The annulment is for his marriage with former dancer Lian Paz. To recall, they tied the knot in Cauayan, Isabela last July 20, 2009. Paolo filed the case first but was declared null and void because he made it look like it never happened. He even said at that moment that he was on taping on the indicated date when the wedding took place.
Since it turned out to be null void, Lian followed to file for an annulment but it seems like there’s no improvement to it yet. It was the actor’s lawyer who is processing the needed actions. She is also willing to pay any fee just to keep it moving but she has not received any updates yet.
She added based on PEP, “Four years ago, sinabi ko na ‘yan sa kanya [Paolo] na ako ang mag-aasikaso. Ang sabi niya, huwag daw. Pero hanggang ngayon, wala pang ganap.”
“2012 pa kami naghiwalay at with all evidences now, pati paghihiwalay nila ni LJ, I guess strong evidence na yun para ma-grant ang annulment. Kaso, di ko talaga alam ang status, if inaasikaso ba talaga?”
Lian is now engaged to her long-time partner John Cabahug while Paolo is the rumored boyfriend of Yen Santos, the actress accused as the third party in his split with LJ.
Meanwhile, Paolo and Lian have two daughters – Xonia and Xalene – and they tied the knot before in a civil wedding ceremony.
