JANELLA SALVADOR – Famous actress Janella Salvador is Darna’s newest Valentina while Jane De Leon plays the titular role of the iconic comic story.

Jane de Leon is the newest actress who will play the iconic heroine role “Darna”. The shooting of this much-awaited project has been postponed many times and prior to De Leon, a couple of actresses who were tapped to do this backed out because of medical reasons. Playing the role requires a physically fit and able body because it includes action-packed scenes since “Darna” is a heroine.

The postponements of the production shoot are because of the pandemic but it seems like it’s will finally start before the year ends. And just recently, the new actress to play the villain role known as “Valentina” was finally announced. Famous actress Janella Salvador was introduced as the newest “Valentina” and many people are happy about it.

Janella is known for her sweet, arte, and good roles but this time, people believed that playing the villain role will enable her to explore more and harness her talent. The director of the series, Chito S. Roño, handpicked her among those who tried their luck to bag it.

“Darna” will also mark her comeback after giving birth to her son Jude. To recall, the last project she did is the hit series “The Killer Bride”. It is in this series that people have discovered she can actually do more than playing kikay roles.
