Is it true that Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz are no longer together?
A “very reliable source” revealed that Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez and Kapuso actor Rayver Cruz have broken up already.
Rayver and Janine sort of confirmed their relationship to the public in 2017 through the sweet photos they posted online. In an interview by PEP in 2019, the actor labeled his relationship with the actress “intense dating stage”.
However, it appeared that that intensity was no longer found between them. In an article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Newsko, he said that a “very reliable source” revealed that Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz broke up.
“Ang alam ko, isang buwan nang hiwalay sina Janine at Rayver,” the source of Lalin said adding that there was no third party involved in the breakup.
The source also said that people should not entertain the speculations linking the actress to her Marry Me. Marry You leading man Paulo Avelino. According to the source, it will be unfair also on the part of Kapuso singer-actress Julie Anne San Jose, the leading lady of Rayver in a new movie, to be dragged into this matter.
“Ang alam ko, kulang sa oras para sa isa’t isa sina Janine at Rayver, kaya ang kuwento rin sa akin, mutual ‘yung decision nila na maghiwalay na lang,” the source said. Lalin’s source also said that because of the pandemic and the lock-in tapings for their projects, the “former” couple had no time to see each other. “So, nauwi na sa hiwalayan ‘yung relasyon nila,” the source added.
When asked if this is just a gimmick or a sort of promotional effort as both Janine Gutierrez and Rayver Cruz have new projects, the source said that the actress would not allow this kind of gimmick.
Then, Jun Lalin shared that he called someone who is close to Janine to confirm the said breakup. “Kung isang buwan na silang hiwalay ni Rayver? Hindi ko mako-confirm ‘yung tungkol diyan, pero may nagsabi nga sa akin, hiwalay na nga raw. Ayoko rin namang mag-comment kasi hindi ako sure kung bakit sila naghiwalay,” the person close to the actress shared.
