Isko Moreno was asked about Sara Duterte
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, one of the presidential aspirants in the 2022 elections, said that he does not care about the political plan of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
The presidential withdrew her candidacy for mayor and she will be replaced by her bother Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte, who is now serving as the Vice Mayor of Davao.
Because of that decision of the female mayor, speculations surfaced that she is heading to the national political arena, either she is aiming for the position of President or Vice President.
Speculations also surfaced that a partnership will happen between Sara Duterte and Bongbong Marcos. Nothing is sure yet about this but one thing Representative Joey Salceda surely said is that the decision of Mayor Sara will be announced before November 15.
In line with this, Isko Moreno, during a visit to Bataan on November 10, was asked to react to the possible political plans of the presidential daughter, based on the article in ABS-CBN News.
The Manila Mayor said that he does not care whatever step Sara Duterte will take next. “Wala naman akong pakialam sa kung ano ang gusto nilang gawin sa pulitika nila. Wala naman kami doon. Hindi naman kami kasali sa kanilang pulitika,” he said.
Isko Moreno said that he and his running mate Dr. Willie Ong have decided early to run and submitted their COC in order to serve the Filipino people. “Buhay nila yun, basta kami, sa tao muna,” the Manila Mayor said adding that they are aiming to talk to people, to reach, hear, and help as many people as possible in every corner of the county and try to make of the time and opportunity.
