Cat With Four Ears Goes Viral On Social Media
MIDAS – A Russian blue mix cat went viral online as it was born with a unique feature – having four ears.
If it’s not that obvious yet, cats, much like humans and other animals are born with only two ears. However, Midas, isn’t like the others. According to vets, her unique appearance could be due to a recessive gene mutation from her parents.
Unfortunately for Midas, black cats already have a bad reputation no thanks to superstitious beliefs. As such, it becomes harder for black cats to get adopted compared to others.
Luckily, when her new owner, cemrepolat picked her up, it was love at first sight. Immediately, Midas purred and rubbed her face, sensing an already deep bond.
So, how is it like living with a cat with four ears?
Well, her new owner says that her behaviour isn’t that different from other cats. Midas is still just as playful as the other kittens. Furthermore, her hearing doesn’t have any issues.
Meanwhile, Midas’ new owner believes that as more people are taking interest in Midas, the more beneficial it is for pets without homes. Additionally, she feels that people could drastically change their perspective when it comes to adopting pets in all shapes and sizes.

Aside from all of this cuteness, Midas also has a tiny litter heart mark on the middle of her chest. With this, the new owner urges netizens to adopt and not shop for new pets.
