Kidnappers in Batangas Used Fake License Plates, According to Police Authorities
The police authorities reported that the suspects who kidnapped six people in Batangas used fake license plates.
Earlier this week, it has been reported that unidentified suspects forcibly took six individuals who were on their way home from a vacation at a resort in Matabungkay, Batangas. The suspects apprehended the vehicle containing eight people.
The armed men blocked and apprehended the vehicle in Laurel, Batangas. The vehicle driver attempted to escape but the suspects caught him. Two more victims were able to escape after running away and sought help from the customers of a restaurant.
The two survivors immediately reported the incident to the police station. Laurel Police officer-in-charge Police Captain Errol Frejas quickly respond to the complaint and found the vehicle at Calamba, Laguna.
On Thursday (November 4, 2021), Frejas reported that the kidnappers in Batangas used fake vehicle license plates. The plate number is registered to a Nissan Navara but there are no Nissan Navara found at the crime scene.
Frejas said.
The police authorities have identified the victims as Mark Nelvin Caraan, Shane Despe, Carlo Fazon, Eugene Noora, Mar Christian Ore and Paulino Sebastian.
The cops are suspecting that one of the victims was involved in illegal drugs while another victim has been allegedly spotted having a spat with a Chinese partner for the abduction.
