PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Thursday (October 28)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Philippines is expected to experience fair and cool weather condition today.
On Thursday (October 28, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeast monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon would also bring cloudy weather condition with rains over Caraga, Western and Central Visayas. Cloudy skies with isolated rains are expected over parts of Luzon.
The Amihan would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated light rains over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon. The rest of Visayas and Mindanao would also experience similar weather condition.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon would have the same weather condition. The localized thunderstorms are expected to bring possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The coastal water condition over northern Luzon would be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of Luzon as well as Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
The weather agency has also spotted a typhoon outside the Philippine area of responsibility. The weather disturbance is already moving away from the country’s vicinity.
Typhoon Malou has been last spotted 1,875 kilometers east of extreme Northern Luzon.
Meanwhile, the Amihan season has officially started last Monday (October 25, 2021). It is expected to lasts until February or March next year.
