Senate President Tito Sotto shared this intriguing story about a snake in his recent Twitter post and this received various reactions from netizens.

Sotto is taking a higher notch in his political career. He is running for Vice President in 2022 as the running mate of his fellow lawmaker Senator Ping Lacson. They are two of the politicians who first announced their candidacy for next year’s elections.

A day after the filing of certificate of candidacy, Sotto shared a post on Twitter that talked about the of a snake that met its end for defending itself in a wrong way. According to the story, the snake entered a carpentry shop and accidentally hurt its body when it went through a saw.

The snake bit the saw for hurting its body not knowing that by doing that its mouth will get hurt as well. Because of this, the snake roll around the saw with intention to suffocate the thing that hurt its body ang mouth but in the end, what it did kill itself. The Senate President did not say anything in the caption of his post except that the story was sent via messaging app Viber.

Apparently, the story wanted anyone to realize that at times, the effort to defend one’s self by attacking whoever cause the hurt will turn out to be more painful. “In life, sometimes it is better to ignore situations, people, and offenses. Because the consequences can be irreversible and catastrophic,” the story stated.
