Billionaire Jeff Bezos Reacts To Squid Game, Netizens Throw Negative Criticism
JEFF BEZOS REACTS – Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos found himself flooded with negative comments after his reaction to “Squid Game”.
Surely, Amazon Prime and Netflix are competitors when it comes to online streaming. However, that doesn’t mean heads of the companies can’t enjoy each others’ shows.
On Twitter, the billionaire expressed his excitement to watch the popular Korean series “Squid Game”. Here, financially destroyed individuals are pitted against each other as the rich watch and place bets on their lives.
As such, the narrative portrayed on the show reveals the struggles those who are financially deprived go through. Along with this, it also shows the lengths humans would go in order to survive.
However, it also gives a glimpse of the disparities between the rich and the poor. For some netizens, the show reveals how the reach can simply play with the lives of those who have less than nothing.
As such, many threw negative criticisms at Bezos for his statement regarding “Squid Game”. Bezos initially praised the series despite not watching what it was all about.

However, netizens were left uneasy after the billionaire described “Squid Game” as inspiring. Others highlighted the irony of Bezos’ praise for the show.
