Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo revealed this secret about her hand in a recent interview on GMA’s Unang Hirit.
Rabiya rose to fame as the first MUP winner that is under its own organization as the Miss Universe franchise was previously handled by the Binibining Pilipinas. Just recently, she became a trending topic on social media because of what happened to her during the MUP coronation night last September 30.
She accidentally tripped and fell on her knees during her final walk. Because of this, her meme went viral with the edited photo of the mascot of Squid Game, a hit series on Netflix, was edited beside her photo when she tripped.
During the interview on Unang Hirit, Rabiya Mateo admitted that she is really “lampa”. She shared that there are time when she was just wearing sleepers but her clumsiness will still show. “It happens all the time talaga, that’s why for me, it’s not a big deal kasi nga minsan kahit naka-tsinelas ako talagang nadadapa ako,” the Ilongga beauty shared.
In the same interview, Rabiya also revealed that she has a secret in her hands. She said that she does not feel confident sometimes flaunting her hands during photo shoots.
“I have ‘swan-neck’ deformity. Hindi talaga siya straight. Baliko talaga siya,” she revealed admitting that this used to be her insecurity. “So I’m having trouble minsan sa mga shots na kailangan ang kamay kasi ang tigas-tigas niya. Hindi siya nakakaganda,” the beauty queen admitted.

Meanwhile Rabiya Mateo has started her journey in the showbiz industry after her pageant stint. She recently signed a contract with the Kapuso network.
