Jasmine Curtis Clarifies Delivery Rider Complaint After Earning Criticisms Online

JASMINE CURTIS – Actress speak out and explain herself after she drew flak online over her complaint against a delivery rider.

After posting on social media about her anger with a delivery rider, Kapuso actress Jasmine Curtis received a mixed response from the internet community. Because some internet users were offended by her apparent humiliation of the delivery rider who claimed that the food being delivered was stolen.

In his Instagram Stories, the actress posted a screenshot of the rider’s photo and captioned it, “Hey @grabfoodph, your rider stole my order. He won’t answer texts or calls.”

One of his Instagram followers advised her not to upload the image right away, claiming that the rider might be in trouble. The follower went on to say that the money taken from her isn’t enough to make the rider ashamed.

“Hmmm, sana di na i-post, i know di mo nakuha u g fud mo pero pwede nman ireport sa app. What if nagkaprob lang. Naipost at napahiya na si kuya, cguro nman di ganun kabawasan ung halaga nawala sau. Pero ung kahihiyan ng tao if di nman sadya ang nangyari di na maibalik #justsaying,” the follower said.

When the allegedly “stolen” meal arrived, another netizen noted that Jasmine had erased her post. The actress was chastised by the internet for publicly humiliating the late delivery rider.

Meanwhile, Jasmine responded to the critiques by explaining why she deleted her Instagram post. She stated that the company has responded to her and is working to resolve the issue with her order.

“Hi, I’ve taken it down and I did simultaneously report it in the app, and via Twitter. The Grab team has processed my refund. Wala po sa halaga ang concern. Thank you for your advice and will take this on board next time,” Jasmine replied.

Here is the message of the said delivery app in the actress’ tweet, “Hi there, Jasmine! So sorry to hear about this. We’ve responded to your DM. Rest assured that an investigation is already underway and we’ll keep you posted. Thank you.”
