Rumors are circulating online about Raffy Tulfo running for a public post in the upcoming national elections.

RAFFY TULFO – Famous broadcaster Raffy Tulfo is rumored to be leaving his programs for his plans to run a position in the elections in 2022.

The national election is fast approaching. It will be scheduled for May 9, 2022, falling on the day of Monday, where people get to choose another president and vice president. Currently, the country’s heads are President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo. Under the administration of Duterte, the pandemic happened and hopes are up for a better year next year.

Duterte is planning to run for the vice presidency next year while Robredo denied running for the senate. The sure politician running for the two highest positions in the country are Panfilo Lacson and Manny Pacquiao for the position of the president while Tito Sotto for the vice president position. Duterte and Rodredo are yet to confirm their plans.

Meanwhile, running around the corners are the rumors about famous broadcaster Raffy Tulfo running for a public position next year. Allegations have it that he will leave his programs for his political plans. In a report from PEP, an insider has revealed this. Tulfo has accordingly disclosed his plans to the TV5 management already.

Currently, he has three programs: Frontline Pilipinas, Idol in Action, and Wanted. It is stated in the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines that the person who has already filed his certificate candidacy is not allowed to be seen on television. Moreover, as per the grapevine, he will be running side by side with Pacquiao, who just recently confirmed that he will be running for the presidency, as his vice president as per the report.

Another allegation said that he will be running as a senator but as of this posting, the famous broadcast journalist has not confirmed anything yet regarding this matter.
