Rico Blanco and Maris Racal share the stage during their ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ performance
Celebrity couple Rico Blanco and Maris Racal had their first performance together on stage after their relationship confirmation.
Rumors linking Rico and Maris romantically started to surface when the actress-singer shared a birthday message to the former Rivermaya member who replied to this with an “I love you.”
It was in May this year when Maris finally confirmed that she and Rico are now a couple. She mentioned in a TV guesting that their relationship started even before the pandemic.
She also revealed that she was hesitant at first in sharing with the public the real score between her and the singer-songwriter because of their age gap. However, Maris said that they are happy that they are receiving support after their relationship confirmation.
In an interview, Rico mentioned that it has always been a fascinating thing for people to know that the people they know are in a relationship. As a music collaborator, he boasted that his girlfriend has great songs.
After their relationship confirmation, Maris Racal and Rico Blanco had the chance to perform together and it was during the recent episode of ASAP Natin’ To.
The former Rivermaya frontman sang his version of the Pinoy Big Brother theme song Pinoy Ako while Maris was dancing together with her fellow PBB alumni oisa Andalio, Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros and Kim Chiu.
The PBB house is set to open again for its 10th season. Maris joined the Kapamilya reality show for its Pinoy Big Brother: All In that was aired from April to August 2014.
Previously, Laurenti Dyogi, the original business head of PBB clarified that the reality show is not merely a talent search. He said that it is a bonus when there is a housemate who will make a successful showbiz career.
